  • Your need high ranking search terms people are using.

Ranking high for search terms no one is using is a waste.

This tactic is used by some SEO "experts" to demonstrate the knowledge it has little or no commercial value.

  • Your website must be compatible with search engines. 

Websites designed in Flash, Frames or Database driven cause problems for search engines.

Search engines rank website by indexing the text on a site, some of these design types prevent search engines indexing text and therefore ranking a site (even if that text can be viewed online).
